EM Administrative Fellowship
During our new two-year fellowship, the candidate will complete the MBA Program for Executives at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a clinical Emergency Medicine Administrative Fellowship. In addition, the candidate will play an active role in the Clinical Operations leadership of the Emergency Department of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The candidate will also work clinically as an attending physician (Clinical Instructor) in the HUP ED.
Education Scholarship
Fellowship
The Education Scholarship Fellowship is designed to develop leaders in medical education who are primed for impactful engagement within academic medicine. Fellows who successfully complete the program will be prepared for independent pursuits in education scholarship and have the essential experience and skill set to immediately assume leadership positions within education, whether Graduate Medical Education, Undergraduate Medical Education, or CME focused.
EMS
Our program’s fundamental goal is to provide a truly diverse one-year EMS educational experience. Leveraging the foundational support of University of Pennsylvania Health System, our program extends from the streets of Philadelphia to the farmlands of Lancaster County in a wide variety of EMS delivery systems including fire, collegiate, volunteer, hybrid, third service, mobile integrated health, and aviation. At the completion of our fellowship our graduates will be well prepared to practice EMS in virtually any setting.
Pediatric Emergency Medicine
This fellowship was one of the first in the nation and has been training leaders in PEM for more than 35 years. It's mission is to provide experiences, education, support and guidance that will allow one to achieve your highest potential as a clinician, educator and researcher.
Resuscitation Research
Fellowship
The Resuscitation Fellows with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania will work closely with faculty and staff from the Department of Emergency Medicine's Center for Resuscitation Science, who are dedicated to research and training surrounding cardiac arrest and resuscitation with the goal of improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest
Research Fellowship in
Emergency Medicine
The fellowship will include reduced clinical service in Penn Medicine Emergency Departments, enrollment in a two year Masters program at Penn, and a mentored research experience with one or more Penn EM faculty members. Fellows will conduct independent research with the goal of peer-reviewed publications and a refined focus of research leading to submission of funding award applications during the transition to faculty positions.
